Munich is called the world capital of beer, but is it really true that the famous Hofbräuhaus has its own safe, where the beer mugs of the regular guests wait for their use? How much does it cost to buy a liter of beer on the famous Oktoberfest? The iPad Rally contains numerous questions that cover typical topics in Munich. In addition, the participants can master funny photo or video challenges. For example, at the Viktualienmarkt the participants must find certain spices or stands with which they can take a photo. Or they can search for the lion in the Feldherrnhalle on the famous Odeonsplatz, where they can touch his nose - did you know that this is supposed to bring luck?
Of course, the Eisbach wave should not be missed on the tour, where you can watch daring surfers on the standing wave, diving into the ice-cold water. The iPad Rally Munich can optionally be extended into the nearby English garden and contain additional challenges. Optionally and at an extra cost, a rickshaw ride, tasting stations such as beer tasting, nailing competitions and beer mug holding can be added to the tour. Additionally, actors can be installed to impressively recreate the most important actions in Munich's history.
Lastly, we will reveal the answer to a question in the beginning of the text. In the Kaufinger Straße there is an impressive church called Frauenkirche, where you can supposedly find the footprints of the devil. Since the construction of the church in the 15th century, people have told each other that the owner made a pact with the devil in order to have the church completed in time. In return, however, he was not allowed to install a single window in the entire church. He outwitted the devil cleverly. The devil stomped in anger - since then, you can have a look on the devil's footprint at the west portal of the church!
